   Meadhbh Hamrick's Plan for the Week of 2026-08-16 to 2026-08-22

   ================================================================

   My plan for the day is to continue to work on the _plan TXT
   resource Internet Draft for the purpose of eventually producing
   an informational RFC. This is, of course, on top of my day job
   which will likely get the majority of my attention.

   I should probably also publish the documentation for DSD/T (the
   Text concretization of Dynamic Structured Data) and QuietType
   (the text formatting conventions I use to make it easier for
   machines to pull information out of plain ol' text files.)

   And while I'm thinking about it... I also should publish B32IA,
   the RFC4648 "base 32 encoding" alphabet I'm using that can be
   encoded in 5.5 bit QR codes (so URLs can be stuffed into smaller
   QR codes) and maybe aren't as confusing when read over a static
   prone voice line.

   Also... think deep thoughts about privacy. I may want to have
   at least four different "privacy domains": family, friends,
   co-workers and public. Should you have different plan files
   like  ``FOO+FRIENDS@EXAMPLE.COM`` or  ``FOO+WORK@EXAMPLE.COM`` ?
   Seems too easy to guess. Maybe generate a nonce based on a date
   range and a shared secret, so you would get something like:
   ``FOO+8FE5CEE59B1A11F19000C6E8D4BEE1B7@EXAMPLE.COM`` and hope no
   one can guess your shared secret. Or maybe one would need to
   have a program that allows someone to identify themselves via
   client certificates or OAuth and the program decides which
   version of the _plan file to serve.

:: Objectives and Achievements

   In the old days at Linden Lab, we had a practice where each
   Monday we would publish a plan for what we would get done that
   week (our Objectives.) And at the end of the week we would look
   at what we actually got done (our Achievements.) It was a
   decent practice. For me, it helped me get better at estimating
   tasks and identifying which tasks I was in control of (writing
   and coding) and which I was dependent on other people for.

   Maybe my _plan file should be a weekly thing where I have my
   week objectives at the bottom and a reverse log of what I got
   done and what I anticipate getting done on a particular day.
